105 registered nurses and 18 midwives are learning the ropes at Sunshine Coast University Hospital today, before starting in graduate positions in the coming weeks.
The graduates are undertaking orientation today, before completing hospital-specific training over the next two weeks.
The nurses will then take to the wards to contribute to providing excellent care to the Sunshine Coast and Gympie community in medical, surgery and a variety of specialties.
They will work at facilities across the region including Sunshine Coast University Hospital, Gympie Hospital, Nambour General Hospital and Caloundra Health Service.
