Visiting hours
Visitors are essential to patient health and wellbeing. We consider patients’ visiting preferences with clinical care, safety and the need for rest.
We are flexible about when you can visit people in our hospitals. However, there may be times when we may need to restrict visitors or ask visitors to leave.
If you plan to visit someone, please check with the ward staff or call Maleny Soldiers Memorial Hospital on 07 5420 5000 to see what visiting restrictions may apply, before you arrive.
Our services
We look after Maleny and the surrounding areas. We have accident and emergency care, inpatient care and some community services.
If we don't offer the services you need, you may be able to access them at Sunshine Coast University Hospital or your closest hospital or health centre.

Parking
There is limited, untimed free parking in the hospital grounds. Additional free parking is available on Bean Street.
There are accessible parking spaces in the hospital car park.
Pick up and drop off
There is a patient pick up and drop off area in front of the main entrance.

The closest bus stop is Maple Street at Cooke Park, approximately 800 m away.

Food
There is a vending machine with snacks and drinks in the front waiting area of the hospital.
Pharmacy
The pharmacy only supplies medications prescribed by doctors for inpatients and patients seen in the emergency department.
