Paid parking
You can access paid parking from Nambour Mapleton Road via the driveway next to the Red Cross Blood Bank.

Concessional parking is available for:
- Health Care Card holders
- Patients and carers who need to attend hospital frequently
- Patients and carers who need to attend hospital for an extended period of time
- Patients and carers with special needs who require assistance
- Patients and carers experiencing financial hardship (100% concession may be available, on application).
To claim concessional parking go to the main reception. You'll need to have your parking ticket with you.
Free parking
Free, 3 hour parking is located along Hospital Rd, Nambour Mapleton Rd, surrounding streets and in the car park behind the retail precinct on Hospital Road.
Accessible parking
There are 2 areas with accessible parking:
- near the main entrance, next to the Red Cross Blood Bank
- in front of the Emergency Department.
Pick up and drop off
There are patient pick up and drop off areas:
- in front of the main entrance
- in front of the Emergency Department.
If you need to borrow a wheelchair, please ask a volunteer at the main entrance.
Public transport
Trains
Nambour train station is approximately 1 km away. Daily trains run to and from the Sunshine Coast. For the timetable, visit www.translink.com.au or call 13 12 30.
Buses
There is a bus stop on the hospital side of the road, outside the Emergency Department.

You will need to phone a taxi. There is a taxi rank on the ramp to the main entrance.
